Mellow (Courtesy Listing)
Mellow is a 3/4 Singer mix female currently located in Canada who is in need of a loving and patient home. We are looking for a quiet single dog household for Mellow. Travel arrangements can be made for the right match! This is a courtesy post, and the NGSDCA has not personally evaluated her.
Mellow is an adorable 3 year old singer girl. She has been children but it has been about a year since she has been exposed to kids. She can be a bit shy and aloof with strangers but once you have gotten to know her she will demand your undivided attention.
As Mellow has matured she has shown some resource guarding towards other dogs and will do best in a single dog household. Like most singers Mellow can be a vocal girl. Be prepared for some amazing singing! She likes to be heard especially when nobody is paying attention to her and has shown some separation anxiety when left alone. Singers in general form extremely strong attachments to their humans and would prefer to go where you go!
Mellow experiences separation anxiety, so she will need an adopter who can provide stability and reassurance. She prefers in a predictable environment with someone who is home often and can help build her confidence.
