Mellow (ADOPTED!)

Mellow is a 3/4 Singer mix female currently located in Canada. At this time, Mellow shares a home with other dogs and children. We are looking for an active home for Mellow that is either a single dog household or an experienced multi-dog household.

Mellow is an adorable and typical almost 2 year old singer girl. She has been raised in a home with other dogs and children. She can be a bit shy and aloof with strangers but once you have gotten to know her she will demand your undivided attention. She has been described as a little mouthy when she plays but has been willing to meet and interact with other dogs pretty openly. Mellow can be a bit slower on giving dogs space when it’s asked for so her interactions will need to be supervised like most adolescent dogs. At this age big feelings can be typical!

As Mellow has matured she has shown some resource guarding towards other dogs so this may need some management in a multi dog household. Like most singers Mellow can be a vocal girl. Be prepared for some amazing singing! She likes to be heard especially when nobody is paying attention to her and has shown some separation anxiety when left alone. Singers in general form extremely strong attachments to their humans and would prefer to go where you go! Mellow is familiar with being crated but not always comfortable left alone in one. She will need additional training and guidance to become more comfortable for longer periods of time alone.

Mellow has been raised around smaller children but will require slow and supervised introductions and interactions. Mellow loves to be around her people and get a good cuddle in up on the couch. If you are interested in Mellow please fill out an application to foster or adopt this beautiful girl.
